A Case Study
A start up was being asked to come into compliance with its parent company's information management standards. As a rather new portfolio company they did not have the internal resources to support information governance and migration of documents within the business compliance structure.
As a way to alleviate the administrative burden, Pinnacle acts as an advocate and consultant to support migration efforts for file migration into the parent company's SharePoint tenant. Our teams helped to prepare folder structure, develop appropriate document tagging and taxonomy so that their files could be in compliance with the parent company's Information Management policies and Binding Corporate Rules.
As a result, all their files will have been appropriately tagged, organized, permission restricted and with appropriate retention coding applied, setting them up for success during their next portfolio company review with their IT team
